From the crafting front: congratulations to Gamina (Shaniah) for reaching 1002 Spellcrafting! :)
In a related note, the Spellcraft and Alchemy skill fillout fields on the character info editing forms now work properly, they were bugged before.. (thanks Dalekon ^^)
Also the Top 5 crafters in these arts were added to the Charts page of the Members section (actual skill is still not automatically updated until GOA has time to get up to date with their XML output).

I was sorry to hear that Qaari has traded accounts with someone in Hibernia, and the new Qaari will be joining a different guild. Nordom has traded accounts again as well but stayed in Midgard as a level 50 Berserker called Vama.

Grilf has made some Shrouded Isles screenshots. from the European beta test that he wanted to share with us, so I quickly rigged a page together to view them (there were too many to put them in the old gallery easily). Be warned that the pictures are about 600 kB each. Alternatively you can download them all as a 19.5 MB ZIP file.

More level 50s! Skeggi and Thadoc (Aydon) have joined the level 50 healer team, and Qaari is scheduled to ding 50 on the last steps of his epic quest. He will be number 31 in our guild.. if only we could get them all online at once... ;)

From the RvR front: Tiwaz's Emissaries have reached 9 million realmpoints as a guild and it looks like we'll reach the magical 10 million milestone very soon. Well done :)

On another note: Sparks has undergone another personality change, and is henceforth known as Nordom, a level 50 spiritmaster.

Update: Qaari has indeed made it to level 50 and completed his epic quest. Gratz! :)

I'd like to start with some belated 'gratz' today, as both Rullnox and Fly (Meany) have dinged level 50 recently, well done.
A few more people are about to join the 50-club soon, so those hibs and albs will likely have some extra Emissaries to deal with in the near future :)

We had guild meeting yesterday, where we introduced two new officers: Jerelyn and Kallio. Both will sport the Huscarl rank for the next 2 weeks or so, after which they'll hopefully be promoted to Jarl. Jerelyn is chosen to be our official 'guild nanny', to take care of the lower levels. Kallio will be organising (PvE) hunts for us as usual :) Beside these official assignments, they will have all the general responsibilities of an officer.

Most of the existing officers have been given an official task as well. More on that will be on our website soon.

Oh, and before I forget: Happy birthday Kallio! (DING 17!)

Lastly a friendly reminder: Guild Meeting, Sunday 2nd of February, 5pm CET, meet at Vindsaul Faste.

A little plea from the crafters out there...

They craft to make items, for you, they enjoy helping you. However, when cash runs short, they can't make items. There is a simple solution to this...

Tip them when you get an item, especially if it was particually time consuming

Donate to the up and coming crafters.. Jerelyn, Felis, Ozigheline, Gamina, Gama and Thorden

If you arn't sure who to tip, then give it to an officer, and they will hand it out

Remember, skilling 1-1100 isn't free, so don't expect items to be dirt cheap. There is alot of time involved, and often a few steps to a make (expecially for Weapon/Armourcrafting, and Armour crafting needs tailoring for chain). If you ever have ANY cash spare, that you are not sure what to do with, think about a crafter, and how they have helped you, or could help you in the future.
