Right, time for a little write-up, the news reports on the website have been lacking a bit lately..

Over the past week, Tiwaz has been recruiting several new members. I'd like to welcome Hjakold, Bawen, Gryrith and his friend Ooogie, Andarielsshaman and Sardoma once more. I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Tiwaz's Emissaries :)

A couple of members have been putting some effort into getting together some cash for our guild housing fund. Four people raised a little over 1p for the housing fund in a fairly short amount of time, while getting themselves some cash as well :)

We have fairly ambitious plans when it comes to guild housing however, so we will need a lot more cash than this. Therefore I'd like to encourage people to raise funds for this purpose, so we are prepared when the time comes. Of course direct cash donations are very much appreciated (I will be collecting guild housing cash on an vault character of mine), but DF raids to raise funds are another good option.

If you get any seals for the fund, talk to me, Jerelyn/Ambush or Shaniah, as we've agreed to trinket these seals without taking any personal profit. To keep it a little more interesting for yourself, a 50/50 type seal hunt like we did is worth considering :)

I will do my best to keep track of all donations made to the fund. It's likely people that made donations will have extra house privileges when we have our own place. I can't give any details about that at this point, but it's likely that crafting tools will restricted to people who donated (of course we don't expect the same amount of donation from a low level as a multiple level 50 die-hard).

If you have any comments about this subject, you can say what's on your mind on this forum thread.
Oh, and while on the subject of the forum, there's now a seperate forum for organising hunts and raids :)

After an hour and a half of downtime today, and an hour yesterday, Excalibur is finally running on the long promised new hardware. This should help reduce some of the lag and zonecrashes experienced in large RvR encounters :)

As some of you might have noticed, Midgard has got its Str relics back!
Thanks for those participating, I couldnīt join because of connection problems.
I so hope that excalibur would get upgraded so we shouldnīt go knock the doors on mornings.

Newsflash: Excalibur is back up, and power relics that Albions took while it was broken have been reset to Hibernia.

The relic raid that was organised yesterday by Midgard on Dun Dagda triggered a (temporary) zonecrash and possibly also the authentication server crash that is currently plaguing Excalibur. People won't be able to log in until the problem is fixed, unfortunately, so if you're getting denial symptoms you'll have to log onto Prydwen or some other server ;)

If you're getting an account already logged in message, you won't be able to play at all until Excalibur is fixed I'm afraid. It's a phenomenon called a 'ghosted' account, and yes, it's annoying :( Needless to say, GOA is aware of the situation and working on the problem.

A hardware upgrade to Excalibur was promised some time ago, and according to GOA it is to occur within the next week and half or so, so hopefully that will put an end to interrupted primetime raids on Dun Dagda.

Either way, I'd like to thank everyone that participated on the raid. Things were looking pretty good until the server gave up on us. I hope to see you all there next time..
