I'll start with some (belated) congratulations: Dreggel and Idlefire have both reached level 50, last Thursday and last Tuesday respectively :) Game development is going steadily, Mythic is up to version 1.69g on Pendragon. The next live patch on European servers will the 1.68 and should be here by the end of April, fixing several Trials of Atlantis bugs and balance issues. |
| March 17th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Excalibur server upgrade! |
|
Tomorrow (Thursday) starting 8:15 GMT Excalibur will be down for a hardware upgrade. Ever since the release of Trials of Atlantis there have been intermittent problems with server side lag in the new zones. Update: as of 10:58 GMT, Excalibur is back up. |

|
Tuesday 10:15 all the English gameservers will be brought down for some bugfix patching. You can find the original Camelot Europe message here. On other news, Zonewall has been promoted to Emissary today, congratulations :) Lastly, 1.69d patchnotes for those interested, as well as 1.69c if you missed them. Mostly bugfixes, but also some minor artifact changes and added trophies for TOA mobs :) |

Update: The database server upgrade was completed, and the website should be back to normal. The tiwaz.org database server will be upgraded and moved early monday morning. Because of this, posting on the forum has temporarely been disabled, as any posts made while the server is moved would be lost. There have also been some problems with the Excalibur server on sunday. GOA personel responded quickly, but the problem seemed less than trivial, so people were unable to log in for about 3 hours. Hopefully there will be a followup news item from GOA about this soon. |
| March 11th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Server Maintenance |
|
Some server maintenance is scheduled to be performed today. English servers are expected to be down starting 9:15 CET and should be back before noon. We're gained some new members over the last week or so: Hostiler, Snefnuk, Npthree, Takros and Enties, welcome all :) (pfft, remind me to post more regular updates :>) Chronicles data provided by GOA is updating once again, so character data on this website should be up to date again. Unfortunately this data doesn't include any Master Level information, so I've added the option of manually providing this information for each of your characters. For those that like to keep completely up to date: 1.69a and 1.69b patchnotes from Pendragon, the US test server. Lots of changes to Augmentation lines, and Dragonfang is finally nerfed, check it out ;) |

First of all: congratulations to Kraig and Grinna who dinged level 50 some days ago and yesterday respectively :) By now most people have received their copies of Trials of Atlantis, the first master levels have been completed and many an hour has been spent on obtaining artifacts. As with most fridays, a new grab bag was posted on the Camelot Herald as well, for those interested. |
| February 27th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - One day after TOA release.. |
|
The server patching on Wednesday was completed well within schedule (Excalibur was back up before noon CET), but there are a few moderately serious problems that are being worked on: firstly, sometimes when you zone you will find the new zone not properly loading. When you press Escape you'll be back at at the character selection screen. Secondly, there are a few servers experiencing server side lag in TOA zones, Excalibur being one of them. There has been some problems with the actual distribution of the expansion as well, and not all of you that planned on getting it will have it yet (I'm expecting my own copy on Friday). Today (well, technically yesterday) was guild RvR day, which was largely a success. We managed to field 2 full groups to kill some enemy scum and to take and claim Dun Crauchon as well. That didn't last very long, but it was fun to do anyway :) Edit: Oops, almost forgot :) Congratulations to Kraig for reaching Legendary Armorer and welcome to Striketwice, a new member today :) |
