Last Thursday an event was once again held for us Midgardians. A great evil had taken over Modernagrav and people from the towns of Aegir were being abducted to be used for dark rituals to strengthen it's power. Once discovered, the realm of midgard quickly formed a war party and guided by the knowledge of Gythja Ingrid Sorensdottir the Matriarch was finally defeated.

Yesterday I dinged ML10 on Jydan on the raid that was held. Go me :) Unfortunately the planned repeat performance ultimately failed because too many people had left, so no ML10 for Thorarin yet..

Our faithful IRC bot, TiwazBot, has reached a milestone recently, having handled over 100,000 !info commands since January (when I started counting) and over 5,000 !guild commands. On a sidenote, XML/Chronicles data is currently not updating correctly because of the 1.69 patch. Hopefully GOA will fix this soon.

On a sad note, I've come to understand from this FreddyHouse thread that Juj has been permanently banned for macro crafting, thus violating the EULA by using 3rd party software affecting the game's behavior. A harsh penalty, but the message is clear: cheating will not be tolerated. If you cheat and you get caught, there will be severe consequences.

Yesterday all servers were patched to version 1.69 - read the full patchnotes to see exactly what has been updated and changed.

My own personal favourite is the /setcamera command.
Now you can change the default cameraview, and you dont have to start each time with a view just between a trolls shoulderblades. Yay!
