| November 19th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Website downtime |
Due to several problems at my webhosting company, tiwaz.org has been down for some time. I'm currently reuploading all the content. Until that is finished you may see some broken links or pages :( On other news: congrats to Skeggi for attaining RR6 in his farm session yesterday :) Shaniah, Skeggi and I will be gone for the weekend, try not to miss us too much <cough> and have fun! :) |
| November 16th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - New Frontiers! (1.70) |
Today is patch day: version 1.70 (New Frontiers) will be installed on the live servers, which will take the better part of the day. Once the servers come back online, you'll have to have the New Frontiers expansion installed in order to participate in RvR. If you haven't already done so, you should download the installer for your version of Dark Age of Camelot: If you don't have the Shrouded Isles expansion, you will have to download the Super Classic client (560 MB) in order to be able to access the frontiers. Once it is installed, you will be able to install the SI version of the New Frontiers expansion. For more detailed information, see the official news article on the Camelot Europe news site. See you online :) |

Welcome back to Daniel, he's back from his sorté to hib. He's playing a troll zerker named Mountaintroll. I hope you'll make him feel welcome even though he was a filthy hib ^^. Bestialis gained level 50! Congrats ^^. On the property market:
Gurbe has a pad at 2310. If you've been glued to DAoC and haven't heard, Mr George W Bush is now to be referred to by Mr President. And Archeon had a really long call of nature this morning, 'welll..... this morning I woke up and had one of those really-really long pisses which never seem to end...' See you in game, |

As you might have read in last week's Friday News, the Camelot Europe website has undergone an overhaul. As a result it's now split into two different websites; one with general game information, and one with the latest news and resources for players. www.camelot-europe.com is now the website for general game information. For game related news news, go to chronicles.camelot-europe.com instead. If you're one of those people that type URLs into their browser instead of bookmarking a website; daoc.goa.com also brings you to the Chronicles website. While on the subject of websites: I've made a minor change to the way members are listed in the Guild Roster. Tradeskills are no longer displayed by default, because people were getting more and more alt characters ;) |
