Today (or technically yesterday as I'm writing this at 3am) version 1.71 went live. There were some initial problems with the login servers but that seems to have been straightened out.
If you haven't yet, take your time to read through the patch notes. They're quite extensive and contain information about new PvE and RvR bonuses for underpopulated realms. For actual values of the bonuses see here. Remember that Artifact levelling has been simplified as well.

I just wanted to wish everybody a merry Christmas. Make the best of the weekend and if you're not busy visiting family or friends, you can always do GOA's Christmas quest :)

Some more noteworthy recent news from GOA: a bunch of Radar users have been identified and suspended for 15 days. From now on anyone who gets caught will be banned permanently as is the usual policy for 3rd party program usage.
The news also talks about version 1.71, which should be going live early January. 1.71 will change the way artifacts are levelled to make it a little less tedious, a most welcome change indeed ;)
