Yush..im aware several of our TE members have a decent lvl or high lvl SB collecting dust somewhere on the char select screen :-P

Although im trying myself now, to get one to 50 (omg at lvl time i guess)..yet im unsure what to go with spec. Im pretty sure i wanna go axe/la and at least 34 CS for CD. Oh..and im gonna lvl the long way from 1, to get the auto points. Not sure about those points are even good at lvl 50, but im gonna find that out :-P

Now gimme some good ideas on specs...and are they working? :-)

At 48 you should have 12 in stealth. Thats 77 extra points, nothing to sniff at imo - especially with SB's 2.2spec :)

Had a play with the SB Character Builder I think its close to the average SB spec, couldn't say for sure. I'm too lazy to find out ;)

Stealth: 35 (+15 from items & RR5 = 50)
Axe: 35 (as above)
Laxe: 39 - Chain off 'Comeback' (After-Evade style) and has a 7sec stun component
Crit Strike: 39 (3rd Style in the PA chain)
Poison: 31 (+15 from items & RR5 = 46)

You could drop axe to 34 if you wanted. I put it at 35 mainly for the WS - but if you put an extra level into Posion you could get the lvl47 Str/Con debuff (-118!!)

And yes, i'm aware you'd need to get to RR5 which is no small task :)

Aye..im well aware getting rr5 as sb shouldn't be a problem, as DF is getting a minor nerf. Although i would prolly take down env to get axe up instead. Its more damage and more weapon skill...i don't think im going to "live" on poisons.

I like the idea with getting 39 CS for 3rd chain on PA. And ofcourse getting 39 La for evade style is nice with the stun....If im going to miss CD ^^

I'm gonna respec Susanoo from 34 stealth, 44 sword, 44 CS, 34 envenom, to 34 stealth, 34 CS, 39 LA, 40 sword, 30 envenom. But at least the first one is a viable spec, but I want to try something else =)

Aparently, it's better for LA users to spec LA higher than weapon spec, rather than the other way around, because the off hand's variance/weaponskill/etc is taken from LA spec, and because you're more likely going to be using LA/CS styles rather than mainhand style's, you want higher LA spec for the growth rate.

havoc = 29, followup to it = 50

Havoc's growth rate is 0.743, just a tiny bit higher than Garrote's, at 0.740.

If you specced CS decently, then Garrote -> Achilles Heel would be the best anytime you can get, their average growth rates' are higher than Havoc and Tyr's fury, only beaten by the H2H taunt ;)

The theori of this specc should be that you hit with PA, then creeping which SHOULD stun target for 7 sec, should give you enough time to..

A: Run to targets back and get off Snowsquall and followup with Icy Brilliance or...

B: fire of stunning stab next in CS chain ( 7 sec bleed) and then go to A

When you land a PA and the following stun, it's a win. I've noticed that with my sb. But landing a good PA is very difficult and will not always work, follow up can be evaded/blocked etc. So that's where your LA pops in with a follow up stun to an evade style. So imo that works. But no envenom means no snare, which can still mean running targets. And running albs, always find their zerg.

So the 33 stealth is ok???

well calculate this: 33+11=44 which is ok, and get some higher realmrank to pop it up some more...
