As far as I'm concerned, welcome back m8...not to mention: "We told you so!" ;p

I think it's a common rule that you can just re-join TE and get your old rank back. My experience is that a good deal of the people who leave TE want to come back later, but don't have the guts to do it. You're more than welcome in my opinion m8 ^^

To elaborate on getting reinstated in one's old rank on rejoining:

Getting your rank restored is more of a guideline than a rule. If a person rejoins after any period of time, they normally get at least Emissary/Herald/Battle Herald rank back.

Crier, Huscarl and Jarl are different matters. As (semi-) officer you're expected to show a certain devotion to the guild, even more so that with regular members.

It has happened in the past that officers left the guild with one or more characters in the heat of the moment, and those incidents don't affect their rank when they rejoin after cooling down.
However, officers that make a well thought through decision to leave, stay absent for extended periods or join/form other guilds in their absence will have to be revoted on.


Anyway, as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to rejoin.
I know many (ex) members think it would be nice to have an RvR group going from time to time, and we should strive to make it happen :)

As for WoW I plan on trying that out too - but that all comes down to how much time I have when it comes out and how much I enjoy daoc at that time :)

As for the RvR group - we might have something in the works with Agrei's plans on the re-occuring group events - thinks just might turn out to be RvR too, and not just exp. (At least thats what I hope)
