Hi all

I've begun planning a tour of the lands for some of our new players.. The idea is to show our new players the different places in midgard, and show good hunting grounds for XP at various lvls, and some power leveling will be included ofc ;).

The tour will begin in the old Zones, and will range from malmo/gna to raum/yggdra... yes lets make it dangours ;).

After old Zones well take a peek at the new zones, and if all goes well and we have DF we could end this "tour" with an XP trip to DF.

So if you're new to DAoC (or midgård), and are cunfused by the words like Hag, Hug, Jord, Malmo, H, DF, Hagall , WWs, Njessi, Nisse etc. then sign up here. A date will be announced if/when theres is enough interest!

So find your innner n000b, and ready yourself for an amazing adventure .. =)

Thanks for the Interest peeps =).

The date chosen will be one with the highest attendance of newcommers, and that is right now the trio Ulgath, Logos and Raghildur so we will MAKE it fit everyones IRL plans ;)
And Jere a skald would be soooo nice (and you too ofc Dale ;), otherwise it would take an IRL day ;). And thorarin you could bring Jydan if you dont mind, and with Agreiloth we should be able to go most places in midgard and be pretty safe. Ofc. the more highlevel people we have the more we can see ;).

Now it's going to be along trip so bring food, as we're gonna picknick in a, as of yet undisclosed place.

Since the new trio all started in Aegir's well start there, so we will start with the new Zones and end with the old Zones and DF or a keep take depending on the DF situation.

A very early plan (and do plz come with suggestions and corrections) :

  1. We meet at bind stone i Aegeir's Hamn

  2. We will use this route(roughly):
Aegirshamn -> Dyrfjell -> Bjarkan -> TrollHeim -> Tuscaran Glacier -> Delingstad -> Hagal -> Iarvidiur -> Aegirshamn (map over SI)

  3. We port using the portal and we start from Galpen, route we'll follow (roughly again):
Galpen->Gna->Askheim-> Stone Circle -> Hagbui's in Vanern -> Varulvhamn -> H -> Lair (pet the dragon ;) -> Gna -> Fort Atla (Horse) -> Nisse's Lair -> Huginfell -> the "gates" of Raumarik -> blodfleg camp -> Audliten -> Vidsaul Faste -> Grallarhorn Faste -> DG -> Mjollner Faste (hope we still have the relics when we do this =) -> Svasud -> Vendo Caverns -> Fort Veldon -> Muspelheim -> Haggerfell -> Mularn -> Jordheim -> Vasudheim
    (map over the old zones)

  4. At some point in all this we'll have our picknick ofc., duels, and other games with prices ofc =). And I hope that our crafters are willing to outfit the n00bs(tm) with killer gear at somepoint during the route.

  5. We will end it all with either XP in DF, or a keeptake in albland (depending on DF situation and number of highlvl peeps ofc ;)

Now this is a rough plan, come with suggestions.. places to see mobs to kill games to play prices to win etc.

We might do this over two days depending on how long people are ready to invest in this in a day.

<edit>

added DG, thx Gama ;)

OK heres an update..

Unfortunately I've been too busy IRL (exams, vacation etc.) to update the midgård tour(tm). But now it's time to set a date. Post your Nick + lvl/char of the toon that will attend and one or more of the dates below:

18th of June at 18 CET
