I have checked the whole page now and I cant find a place where it sais how to get promoted from a emiss to a huskarl (that I think is the next rank)

so my question is: how do I get to be a huskarl?

The next rank is Crier, and there isn't a fixed requirement you have to meet before you get promoted to it. To become a Huscarl, you will have to be Crier first..

You can't become a Jarl, but Huscarl is effectively the same rank. The only real difference is that the Jarls were the original founders of the guild, and Huscarls were promoted to their rank by the accoumplishments.

PS: It's saviour or savior depending on whether you use Brittish or American English ;)

Hehe, not me, I haven't even made it to Crier myself yet :)

Criers have extra responsabilities, so I'd gather they're judged on their general behaviour, judgement and dedication to the guild, as well as the need for people of the rank.

Funny, so basicly you have to be very active in the guild and then ask many people to promote you or something?

If thats the case, its weird that our webmasters is just a emmisary isnt it?

Well, of course if you have officer aspirations and you think you're ready for it, you could talk about it to Grilf or something. Just asking a lot of people to promote you won't get you far, I think.

As for me being Emissary... well, Grilf put me up for promotion a while ago, but there never actually was a vote I think. That's ok though, I can live with being an Emissary :-)

Emissary is tha coolest title so far :) Besides tha rank Grilf got.

Gah! Ok, I'm not sure what to do. Atm, I think we have too many officers. However, Thorarin your name does come up on guys to promote, along with a couple of others :-). We chat about stuff quite often on officer chat, so if you don't see it here, we still could be thinking about it :-). If you want us to look into something, tell someone, me stunny, or any other officer, and we will bring it up on your behalf.

My rank isn't *that* cool, I get bombarded with tells all the time :-).

Hehe, here in the Netherlands we have a saving: hoge bomen vangen veel wind (high trees catch a lot of wind). We've seen the effects of that with Killgorde and his C-in-C position :-/

People play the game to have fun they dont wanna spend all there time organising stuff so i think what alliance leader did by leaving was a good decision, but now grilf is gunna get stressed :/

well I just wondered if there was some cind of a "system"
but I must say that is is a lot more funnier this way

sitting and w8ing for the officers to get in the right mode befor playing the rough game to getting promoted :D

if u think its to many "officers" u should open another on the ranks 7-4 I think it is, to make the members get more spred out rank wise
